Kate is responsible for all of the content seen and shared across the company’s websites, blogs, and social channels—assuring that McGuire and its agents’ content is current, relevant, and engaging for the consumer experience. Kate works with McGuire's marketing and leadership teams to develop strategic, integrated communications on behalf of the brand and its sales agents.
She uses both traditional and digital media platforms to share McGuire’s story, promote its agents and listings, and provide trusted market insight to its many followers. By leveraging innovative technology like dynamic ads and mobile retargeting, Kate ensures that McGuire’s original content enlightens and entertains the brand’s new and existing audiences. As McGuire’s Content Marketing Manager, she plays a key role in engaging its consumer and increasing agent sales opportunities.
Kate graduated from California State University, Chico where she majored in Journalism with an option in Public Relations. In 2008-2009, she was a member of the Chico State National Model United Nations team which took home the Outstanding Delegation Award while representing South Korea at NMUN’s annual conference in New York City. Kate is a die-hard Seattle Seahawks fan—a choice that she often defends to her fellow San Franciscans—and attributes to growing up in Washington until she was 14 years old.
When she’s not busy writing copy, pitching the press, or crafting strategic social + brand campaigns from McGuire’s flagship office in the Marina District; Kate can usually be found running around her beloved Cow Hollow neighborhood at one of her favorite places: Walgreens, SoulCycle, Balboa Café and/or PlumpJack Wine & Spirits.
